Retriever Club, Inc. Albuquerque, New Mexico |

OVERVIEW OF THE RGVGRC ADOPTION PROCESS:RGVGRC Goldens are placed within the State of New Mexico and primarily the Albuquerque area. Adoption Donation: Although donations are not required, we ask that a donation be made to the RGVGRC Rescue fund at the time of adoption. These donations help the club meet boarding and veterinary expenses incurred by our non-profit organization, as well as those of the families who foster the Goldens. We NEVER have puppies available. Prospective adopters should contact the RGVGRC rescue group Dianne Uzdawinis, (505) 856-6658, duzdawinis@aol.com If you're interested in getting on our list for future adoptions, you can fill out the adoption application form, available as a PDF file. Print out and complete the application. Completed applications should be sent to the address listed at the end of the application. SURRENDERING YOUR GOLDENIf you have or know of a golden who needs a new home: The RGVGRC Rescue volunteers rescue golden retrievers from shelters all over New Mexico and beyond, and from owners who can no longer keep them. If you need to find a new home for your golden, please contact us by leaving a message for Dianne Uzdawinis, (505) 856-6658, duzdawinis@aol.com. One of our intake volunteers will contact you as quickly as possible. Please note that when you surrender your golden to RGVGRC Rescue, you relinquish ownership and all rights to the dog. We require that you sign a owner release, and that you disclose any medical problems and/or behavior problems that your golden has had. The more information you can give us about your golden, the better job we can do in placing him/her in an appropriate new home. We ask that you write a few paragraphs about your golden, so that we can help the new family make him/her feel secure and welcome. |
